Workplace Investigations
A sensitive allegation calls for a clear investigation plan and careful judgment. I conduct independent workplace investigations for companies and boards, including matters involving executives and complex organizational dynamics.
Sensitive allegations and executive conduct
My investigation experience includes harassment, executive misconduct, fraud, conflicts of interest and compliance failures. I bring experience working with leadership, engineering teams and business functions to understand both the evidence and its context.
Defining the assignment
The starting point is the concern to be examined, the appropriate reporting relationship and the scope of the work. An investigation should support informed decisions while accounting for the people involved and the organization’s legal and business responsibilities.
When a matter becomes a crisis
Some investigations run alongside an executive departure or reputational concern. I also advise on crisis response and coordinate with communications professionals when the legal and communications strategies need to move together.
Based in New York. Matters involving other jurisdictions are coordinated with local counsel where needed.
